Our daughter Emily is 15 years old and a sophomore at Independence HS, where she plays horn/mellophone in the band. My husband is also a band director at Nelson Middle School, and we have two children. I live here in Frisco with my family and two super cute cats. I absolutely LOVE our band students here at Stafford and am so excited for this school year!

Rogers with Symphonic Band, and he and I team-teach Concert Band. Here at Stafford, I teach all the beginning woodwind classes (flute, oboe, bassoon, clarinet, saxophone) and Wind Symphony. I went to college at the University of North Texas, where I graduated with a degree in Instrumental Music Studies with a specialty in percussion. Prior to coming to Frisco ISD, I taught for nine years in Prosper ISD and seven years in Carrollton-Farmers Branch ISD. Music has ALWAYS been a part of my life, and I knew from the time I was in 7th grade that I wanted to be a band director. I have the privilege of serving as Director of Bands here at Stafford! This is my third year as a Spartan and my 19th year as a band director.
